“ It's been a few years since I last visited this Ramen Bankara outlet. Ordered 2 Bankara Original Ramen, 1 onsen egg and 1 aburi sliced pork. Enjoyed myself with the ramen and soup, to the last spoon. Service was great, staff refilled water without need to request. It's also clean and nostalgic inside the restaurant. ”
“ I stumbled upon this hidden ramen gem by accident—tucked away inside a plaza. Somehow, I had a sixth sense that it would be a good one, and I wasn’t wrong. As is often the case with Japanese restaurants, I was greeted warmly by the staff, which instantly made the experience feel welcoming. The atmosphere is just right for enjoying a bowl of ramen—cozy vibes and pleasant background music. I ordered the Kakuni Tsukemen and requested it less salty and less oily, which the staff happily accommodated. The air conditioning was strong (perfect for a hot bowl of noodles), and the chairs were comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. Now, the food—wow. The pork belly and chashu were absolutely amazing: melt-in-your-mouth soft, rich in flavor, and clearly slow-cooked with care. The noodles had that ideal chewy texture—neither too soft nor too firm. Every bite was satisfying, and it quickly became one of the more memorable ramen experiences I’ve had. “ Visited twice, once in Mar 2024 and more recently in May 2025 Incredible ramen. I love that they have a stock of garlic presses for those who like their broth super garlicky. Char siu is slightly on the thinner side. But very flavourful nonetheless. Gyoza didn't disappoint. Crisp on one side, good amount of filling. There is no toilet within the premises, but there is one in the building, one floor above. Prompt service and I also like the section that they direct solo diners towards. It's a nice communal table feeling. Groups have booth seating. ”

“ Bankara was a very traditionally decorated ramen restaurant. The vibe inside was great! The menu was quite large with many options to pick from soup based 5k dry based ramens. Though, the ramen itself was unfortunately too salty to fully enjoy (still tasted great though!) Prices were also quite justifiable for the received portions and quality kf food. Recommended! ”
